With spring weddings being right around the corner, Bella Vue has noticed a lot of trends with the color palettes couples have been choosing. We want to share our top 5 with you! In no particular order:
1. Blush, Navy, Rose Gold
We have noticed that blush is popping up everywhere! We love it, it’s soft, romantic, feminine and goes amazingly with a rose gold! They complement each other so well because it’s the perfect amount of contrast. Having your bridesmaids in a blush colored dress with the groom and groomsmen in navy suits looks SO GOOD in photos and at the alter! Adding touches of rose gold to the flowers and at the reception, a table runner, for example, would really bring everything together seamlessly.

2. Burgundy and Blush
Burgundy is a great color that works all year round. To bring burgundy into spring weddings, add in pops of blush to brighten and refresh the color palette. You could have your bridesmaids in burgundy dresses and your maid/matron of honor in blush. That would look stunning! When it comes to the guys, the best man could wear a blush tie with the rest of the party wearing burgundy to keep the same idea across both parties. Consider a combination of burgundy and blush colored flowers and add in a pop of shimmer or gold throughout

3. Soft Jewel Tones
We love jewel tones, there is just something about their depth and richness that we can’t get over! We love their counterpart just as much, pastel hued jewel tones. Hear us out, a spring green could easily take the place of emerald, a light blue could take sapphire’s spot and a soft lavender could knock out the deeper purples! If this sounds too light for what you are imagining, add burgundy into the color palette for depth.

4. Green and True Floral Tones
We are in love with this trend! Bridesmaids in a minty green dress with bright popping bouquets alongside groomsmen in a dark grey with a green or burgundy tie. Imagine how much fun you could have with the floral, whether that means a floral arch way, popping centerpieces and table décor, the possibilities are endless! The pops of color will really help to liven everything up and make it feel so dreamy!

5. Gray and Yellow
Okay, this one might be a wild card but who doesn’t love yellow! It is such a happy and inviting color that could be fun to play around with on your special day. The bridesmaids could wear pastel yellow dresses while the groom and his party wear light grey. The flowers could be bright and white with some light greenery and maybe a few splashes of yellow

Hi guys! Most of Bella Vue Events’ blogs will be written in the voice of both of us, Elyse and Emily, when we are sharing tips, tricks, trends and other topics. Sometimes we will share something that is more personal to one of us and that will be written in a more specific voice, rather than the more neutral tone we typically use. Both of us are relatively private people, but we have chosen to use this platform to share some of our experiences with the hopes that maybe just one person can relate or “needed” what we felt compelled to write. We’ve both always felt a calling to make a real difference and we hope to do just that with Bella Vue Events, by reducing our clients’ stress through our event planning services and by offering a safe place to talk about the tough things. I, Elyse, will go first.
This past weekend, we took part in an event called “Love Your Belly” to honor pregnancy and motherhood. I attended the event as a guest last year and knew that Bella Vue Events had to take part in the event this year and not just to grow our business but because of the cause.
